Terms of Service

Scope

These Terms of Service apply to your use of the Zapheron public website at zapheron.ai, our online assessment tools, and the AI Visibility Scorer. They do not govern direct consulting engagements, advisory work, or transformation projects, which are subject to separate written agreements between Zapheron AS and the client.

Parties

These terms are entered into between you (“you” or “user”) and Zapheron AS (org. nr. 937 674 856), a company registered in Norway, hereafter “Zapheron.”

What the service is

Through the website, Zapheron currently offers free online assessment tools, the AI Visibility Scorer, contact and waitlist forms, and links to schedule introductory calls. The list of tools and features may change over time as we add, modify, or discontinue services. Any consulting engagement that follows from a booked call is governed by a separate agreement, not these Terms.

Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • Use automated scripts, bots, or scrapers to submit data to or extract data from the tools.
  • Reverse-engineer, decompile, or attempt to derive the scoring logic, methodology, or algorithms behind the tools.
  • Submit third-party personal data without proper authority to do so.
  • Use the service to violate any applicable law or regulation.
  • Attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of the service or its infrastructure.
  • Interfere with or disrupt the operation of the site for other users.

Zapheron reserves the right to block access or remove submissions that violate these terms, without prior notice.

Acting on behalf of an organisation

If you use the service on behalf of an organisation, you confirm that you have authority to do so and that the organisation accepts these Terms.

Intellectual property

All content on the website — including text, design, tool methodology, scoring logic, AI-generated reports, and software — is the property of Zapheron AS or its licensors and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws.

Your data: You retain ownership of the information you submit to our tools. By submitting data, you grant Zapheron a limited, non-exclusive licence to process it solely to provide the service (for example, to generate your assessment report).

You may not reproduce, distribute, or publicly display content from the site without prior written permission, except for your own assessment reports which you may use freely for internal purposes.

AI-generated content disclaimer

Some of our tools generate reports and assessments using artificial intelligence based on the information you provide. Please be aware of the following:

  • AI-generated outputs are informational only and do not constitute legal, regulatory, financial, or professional advice.
  • You should independently verify any output before making decisions based on it.
  • The EU AI Act Risk Classifier provides an indicative classification only. It does not replace formal legal review or a conformity assessment. You must seek qualified legal advice before relying on its output for compliance purposes.
  • AI outputs may contain inaccuracies or omissions. Zapheron does not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or suitability of any AI-generated content.
  • Zapheron is not liable for any decisions or actions you take based on tool outputs.

Liability

Our online assessments and the AI Visibility Scorer are provided for informational purposes. They are not legal, regulatory, financial, or professional advice, and you should not act on their outputs without your own independent review.

Zapheron AS is not liable for losses arising from decisions you make based on our tools or content on this site. For any liability that remains, our total liability to any user is limited to the amount that user has paid Zapheron AS in the 12 months preceding the claim.

Nothing in these Terms limits liability for gross negligence, wilful misconduct, or any liability that cannot be excluded under mandatory Norwegian law.

Availability and warranties

The service is provided “as is” and “as available.” Zapheron does not warrant that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of harmful components. We may take the site offline for maintenance without prior notice.

Termination

You may stop using the service at any time. Zapheron may restrict or terminate your access at any time if you violate these terms or if continued access poses a risk to the service or other users.

On termination, your submitted data is handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

Changes to these terms

We may update these Terms of Service from time to time. If we make material changes, we will post a notice on the website. Your continued use of the service after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.

Governing law

These Terms are governed by Norwegian law. Mandatory consumer protection rules in your country of residence (where applicable) are not affected by this provision.
